Description

The Oregon Responder, a pollution control vessel homeported in Astoria, Ore., demonstrates its skimming capabilities during an oil spill response equipment exercise on the Columbia River near Vancouver, Wash., Oct. 10, 2018.

The goal of the exercise was to demonstrate that multiple oil companies, spill response contractors, federal, state, local and tribal agencies can work together to conduct a rapid, aggressive and effective oil spill cleanup response.
