Charles A. (Chuck) Horner (19 October 1936- ) is a retired United States Air Force general, best known for commanding the Coalition air forces in operations against Iraq in 1991. He retired as the four-star commander of the Air Force Space Command.

In the 1990-1991 war, he wore several "hats": commanding general of the U.S. Ninth Air Force and the Air Force component commander (AFCENT) of the United States Central Command, as well as the overall air commander for the multinational air forces. Early in the campaign planning, he listened to the air campaign plan proposal from COL John A. Warden III, found good insights in it, but found he could not work personally with Warden. He did keep one of Warden's planners, then-lieutenant colonel David A. Deptula, who is now the three-star head of Air Force Intelligence.
